Good Morning. Poor NP is up to 557 this morning. I wonder why the jump. Should I just give hime the .2 dose?
After giving his shot this morning, I kind of wonder if it was me the goofed his shot last night. These u100 syringes have a short needle and I wonder if it was a fur shot. No, master. Just guesser here. Will you be around today? If so, you might give a smidge more than 0.2 as he is over the 200s today. But up to you. Just keep muttering "data collection, data collection......"
Yeah, but an orange doesn't have black fur. That could have made his number higher this am. The short needles can be hard to get used to. In your spare timeyou can use an old one to shoot an orange and practice.
It says you are a good momma.I would definitely skip. He may be higher tomorrow morning. It looks like your 0.2 was more than enough for a black, so tomorrow, I'd try 0.2 minus a drop or two, if he is high enough.
Just for reference With a beginning diabetic, without any data to look back on, we suggest not shooting under 200. Once you have data and some idea of what might happen with a given dose for a given number, you might shoot at 180 or even 150 - as long as you can monitor and measure a tiny dose.
But I would not shoot under 150. If you aren't already, you might split the food into small meals. The thinking is that small, frequent meals support the pancreas.
Thanks! I'm a proud momma.Beautiful numbers!!!
Sure thing. Gracias. Can you stall? Wait 20 minutes without feedIng and retest to see if he is rising and nearer 200.
