Sorry this long. Coming to the experts for help. With the cat food shortage, I'm having a really big problem finding food, specifically beef flavor. I want to keep the food low carb and phos if possible. Yes I have been through the charts, tried most.

They will not eat anything with liver. No pork since Tripper is allergic to it and I think she is sensitive to chicken. Since having trouble with beef she is eating more chicken and her ears are starting to bother her again. She has always been beef only cat. They can not have shredded, minced, chunky food or they vomit. I have tried and keep trying home cooked and raw, they won't touch it. They won't eat Sheba, Perfect Bistros, Whole Earth Farms. There is so many to even list that they won't eat. Certain brands I won't even consider. They don't like lamb or venison. I will not give anything with fish in title because of allergies. Vital Essentials is hit or miss.

They use to eat FF beef until it changed then they stopped. Same thing with Purina One Beef, they now out right refuse it. I must say this last case of it really stinks. FF is out of stock everywhere here and I just got notice from chewy variety pack is out. They will eat Tiny Tiger ok but need another, I'm working through the Tiny Tiger variety case now. They won't eat the Turkey/Giblets (they never did like that). They like Paws chicken (made in Canada, they don't make beef) but hard to get now. FF Medley chicken primavera they will eat about twice a week.

Been out of beef for 4 days now. Extra Chewy order arriving today so I will have tiny tiger beef for tonight. Tripper can't afford to lose any weight and she is the most picky eater and the one with allergies. Actually just got the rx a/d food from chewy, it's the only food I can get Trippers med in and she eats it.

I found this on chewy site today, since they told me autoship order for next week has out of stock items. So anyone know about this food? It is pricey, I did order for the autoship next week.

Local rescue is loving the variety I been giving them. I'm running out of choices.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried Weruva Steak Frites? It's low in calories, so you will have to feed more, but it's the one thing that is low carb low phosphorus I found that two picky cats liked.

If all else fails, I would say to get some baby food in the meantime and try it.

I've stayed away from it because it's shredded has chunks. They vomit with that texture. I will see if I can get a few cans somewhere.

@Olive & Paula
You can always blend it in a blender, I had to do that when Moo Moo was super nauseous. I added some water and a couple cans of food (plus phos binders because she had CKD), and it made a baby food type texture.

I recently tried KOHA Beef Pate. It has 2.5% carbs and 1.09% Phosphorus (both are Dry Matter Analysis - other info is under Nutrition Information on the product page). Dixie ate this fine, even though she didn't like the Weruva Steak Frites. I have only switched away from the KOHA Beef Pate because I need something even lower phosphorus and lower protein for Dixie's CKD.

I've fed the Canada Fresh Lamb, but not the red meat (which also has lamb). They also have beef. Analysis of the foods is here.

I'm not finding it in the link you posted.

It brings me to condo for food list, when click on the link it brings me to another link which then brings me back to original links.

My kits are eating the beef still but it's only been 2 days.
