I have somehow deleted Frankie's UK spreadsheet and the US version has gone funny. Any ideas if I can retrieve this????

Wow, it really has gone funny, hasn't it! Try posting for help in Suggestions, Tech Support & Testing Area, that's what I usually do when I have SS problems. I had a similar issue with mine once and somebody fixed it for me , thankfully! Good luck! :)

Did you just delete the tab from your spreadsheet or is the whole file gone? I can still see Frankie's spreadsheet in your signature.

If you only deleted the tab you should be able to go back in your revision history to get it back. With the spreadsheet open go to File > See Revision History. In the revision history view you should see a long list of dates that you can select to view your file as it existed on that date. When you find the last good version select the date and click on "Restore this revision" (this will be below the date).

I'll do a quick search for a tutorial. I'm about to head to bed so I don't trust myself to give clear instructions!

@Bama -

Thank you for all the really helpful information on how to recover a banjaxed spreadsheet: I've always worried about what would happen if my files were to go pear-shaped.

Yes, thank you, @Bama! A while back, Hannah's spreadsheet did "go pear-shaped" and I ended up recreating it from my paper records. Talk about a time-consuming headache!

I don't have paper records anymore. With my health issues it's all I can do to keep the online spreadsheet up to date. I'd be absolutely screwed if I lost the info. (NB: I do download the spreadsheet every now and then but with my poor concentration and focus problems most of the time I don't think to do that.)

I'm a remnant of the good-ol' days when everything was on paper, so I guess I've never quite been able to shake that. Of course, locating all those papers when I need them is another story! :confused: Here's hoping you're having a better day today, Mogs. Sending some hugs and prayers your way... oh, and scritches for Saoirse and your other kitty (can't remember her name... sorry), too. :bighug::cat::bighug::cat::bighug::cat:
