I have had a VERY good few days with by kitty Max! Switched to wet food, BG is on its way down, insulin dosage has been dropped. But I have been basically poking the bejesus out of him for a couple of days to watch his BG while making the switch to wet food and I think he deserves a treat! Is it safe to give him catnip?
Thanks in Advance!!

Yep catnip is fine, let the boy party all he wants, he deserves a treat for being such a good boy.

all of mine just lifted their heads with talk about catnip, yum! I grow it everywhere and then it grows itself EVERYWHERE! Sometimes if I'm running a curve, I will keep the catnip flowing!

I know what you mean--I only got the hang of ear-pricking last Saturday evening and had to go straight into a 2-hourly-testing curve to make sure she wouldn't go too low!!! My poor girl, the switch to low-carb all-wet food plus getting rid of her underlying infections dropped her numbers way faster than the vet anticipated and thank GOD I got the hang of testing just in time.

Catnip party all round I think
