Hello!
It's finally nice in Toronto, and Princess is exhibiting normal behaviours for when she's warm; pink nose, chillin' in the bathroom, not doing too much.
However the vet has taken her caninsulin units down from 9 daily to 6, now 4. I confess I haven't mastered home testing. I tried just now, with no success.
Just wondering, is it possible that she's hypo, not the weather? I gave her a touch more food which she was clamoring for, but that's not unusual for her, she's always hungry.
Additionally, she's being treated (day 5 of 8) for an ear infection with drops to the ear, but it's bothering her far less than it was.
Advice would be great; I don't want her to hypo, and I don't think my vet will be in tomorrow with the holiday.
Thanks!
Liz
