This morning I got 2 drastically different readings within a minute of each other.

6:26 AM - 79
6:27 AM - 573

What on earth???

I would test again. One of the strips must be bad.

Really makes me wonder how accurate my other daily tests are.

I would assume the 79 was either a bad strip or perhaps it didn't have enough blood on it. With two readings being high, I would assume Pretty Girl's up in the clouds rather than the lagoon. I would shoot as normal if she were mine.

I agree too. Are you going to do a curve soon? It’s hard to know if not enough insulin or bouncing without more tests mid cycle or a curve. You don’t want insulin resistance due to not enough insulin for too long but also don’t want to increase if she’s dropping andyiu just haven’t caught it.

Yes, I will do a curve either tomorrow or Sunday. Agree that it's hard to know if she's bouncing or what.

Will update when I've done the curve.
