Smokey tends to get an itchy face once in a while. It's a few times a year, it seems. It can get bad enough where he scratches all the fur of certain spots on his face. I don't readily give him the pred, only when he gets bad.
We believe this allergy to be airborne but aren't sure exactly what he is allergic to.
Can anyone recommend anything that won't make his sugars skyrocket?

Thanks,

I have ZERO idea if this works for allergies but I have been intrigued with these products since learning about them when I was looking for an alternative to Nature's Miracle urine ("accident") clean up. Since it is applied externally, it shouldn't affect BG.

I have sprayed my cats' beds, litter boxes, and even the cats themselves 1-2 x/week for a few weeks now. They don't have allergies so I don't know if helps allergies. If anything, itching has increased a bit but we've also transitioned to furnace weather so that complicates the experiment. It does make the cat's fur feel "cleaner" and in general the cat boxes smell a bit better. And this company's general purpose cleaner is GREAT for cleaning the boxes with full empty out litter changes and also great for eliminating urine smell from those....grrrr..."accidents".

If you try it, I'd be really curious what you think.
