Thanks everyone, I just can't belive this. Last June I had to let Cecil go and in August Jessie. Now, less than one year later my new kitten Skippy. I thought he was healthy and that was a relief, because of all the stuff I went through with Cecil. My first cat Rat was 5 when I lost her to an asthma attack, she was never healthy and that was hard. Luckily, I had about 9 years of not having to deal with health issues with Cecil, Jessie and Dottie. My DH's cat Stubby was DX with diabetes first, but prior to that he was healthy for about 6 years.
I don't know....Just feeling heart broken now. Thinking it's just me and Dottie. She is 13 and has Hyper-T, so that concerns me. She is on meds and doing well, so that's good. No more new cats, I feel it's wouldn't be fair to Dottie. She had to adjust to Skippy and I'm not having her stressed out over another new kitty. Once Dottie's time comes, I'll probably adopt some new kitties. I love cats and think I will always want them around me, but I do stress over them. Sigh....
