Prayers for a LL member please ..

As some of you may have noticed Barb and Checkers have not had a condo in a few days. Barb is suffering from extreme back pain and is currently unable to sit on the computer and make a condo for Checkers. In fact, the strong pain meds that she is on at times have prevented her from giving Checkers his shot, just simply because it messes with her line of thinking correctly. I know that Barb believes in the power of prayer and I know this board is pretty powerful when it comes to that. She has told me she misses everyone's kitties and can't wait to get back on here, but it may not be for a month or so, until her back heals up. So please if you can, send a prayer Barbs way. I know she appreciates all of them.

If this is in the wrong spot, please feel free to move it. I just know Barb spends most of her time here in LL.
 
you know its so odd you post a update now on Barb and Checkers since it was only about 15 min ago I searched for her last condo and saw it had been quite a few days and so I wondered what was going on I sure hope she gets to feeling better soon Do Lou and I are sending healing vines and snowflakes and prayers her way
 
Hey Devon....it sounds like you are in touch w/Barb....Please let her know she is definitely in my thoughts and prayers. Sending warming vines for her back muscles, cooling vines for the back nerves and calming/head clearing vines for her mind. Hope her back mends quickly.

Thanks for posting about Barb, Devon. Sending prayers for Barb....I hope her back heals quickly! I was wondering about her, I knew she was having back problems...I hope Checkers is being a good boy!
 
I'm sending lots of positive thoughts for Barb. Back pain can be very debilitating. Snowflakes and vines, as well.

(You might want to cross post in Community since some oldtimers visit there. There's also the LL group on FB.)

We, too, are sending prayers and positive thoughts for a mending back! Back pain can be awful, and often it just takes a while to clear up. Devon, if you talk to Barb, please tell her that we are sending her some beautiful healing vines and lots of snowflakes to help her back feel better. I hope she'll be able to move around a bit in the coming days, because moving around will speed recovery. The latest "word" on back pain seems to be: let the back gradually heal itself; don't rush into extreme procedures.

Thanks Devon for posting this. I had wondered what had happened. I hope she has a speedy recovery. My deepest sympathies for her. Mannie and I send as many healing vines as we can find. She will be in our thoughts are prayers.
 
Funny who posted right before me.... I was going to recommend sleeping in a pile of nanners like Mannie. Good for what ails ya :cool:

So sorry to see this post - back pain is the worst.

Devon...thanks so much for letting us know. I wondered where she had been as I had not seen Checker's condo in a few days but I know sometimes folks need a break and also her work schedule is tiring. Please tell her we are sending mountains of snowflakes and certainly prayers her way.

Thank you everyone, I know all of your kind words are going to mean so much to her .. Unfortunately I don't believe anyone is close enough to help out with checkers and she is certainly worried about him missing shots, but she feels it is safe to miss a shot, then to take strong pain meds and mess around with shots and testing if he goes low. Please just keep the thoughts and prayers coming and hopefully with plenty of rest Barb and checkers will be back here soon.
 
Oh poor Barb. Back pain is no fun that's for sure. Will be sending many prayers and healing vines that she will soon be feeling better.
 
I am so sorry to hear about Barb. I hope her back heals so she can be free of this pain. Rest Barb, let your muscles and nerves recover. I am sending lots of warm thoughts and lots of hugs. ((((Barb))))
 
I've had back trouble myself in the past and there were times that I couldn't even flex a pinky, without extreme pain shooting all through there - so I can really sympathise - I sure hope Barb's back will calm down and heal very soon...
 
Milo, Monty and I want to send Barb our thoughts and prayers. We hope she soon gets some much needed relief from her back pain. We will pray her guardian angels will watch over her and Checkers!
