Great progress, after 5 nights he is home! Thank you for all thoughts and prayers and generally reading the forums has been comforting after a very trying week

@Laszlo - Wonderful news! I'm very relieved to hear back from you with such a great report about Miguel. (We worry!) From now on, be sure to regularly test for ketones (and search the forum for posts about DKA - lots of knowledge and tips for you to read).

Cathie, would you please pray for Misty for me? She is an 8 year old diabetic kitty who fell on terrible times when her owner died, and now she in kill-listed in a shelter in New York. It's breaking my heart. I would take her if I possibly could, but I can't. Please help pray that someone rescues her and gives her a loving home! Her case is urgent and she needs help ASAP.

Mogs, I don't know if she's still there (meaning, alive) and I'm almost afraid to find out. Her time was very limited. I'll try to work up the courage to check.
