Update:
It looks like Melanie may have Stage 4 breast cancer that spread to her hips and backbone. Doctor doesn't see that it will help to remove the breast cancer at this point. :cry:

Melanie got her chemotherapy port implanted today.
It is definitely late stage breast cancer, metastasized to her thigh bone and multiple lesions in my spine. It is not curable but doc says "very treatable" with chemo and Tamoxifen.
