!Possible Fur Shot/Constipation

We are having a strange morning, I might of Fur Shot Corky this morning, also Once again I am going thru the Constipation dilemma, I am doing the usual with the Miralax and Lactulose, but is not really working especially for Coco it's been a few 3 days, so neither are eating as usual, they must be clogged up, they are hungry but eat very little, even their favorite the Fricks Gourmet ham snack,
I am open for any new home remedy suggestions again

I wish I had insight into better remedies for constipation. My cat is on lactulose, pumpkin, and miralax and still only poops every 3 days. Did anyone ever respond to your thread?

I don’t know about too much constipation but the intestines will not give him a chance,,you must slow down on too much too many just stick to 1 for 1 week then switch 3 days is not not bad is ok make sure he’s drinking plenty of water if not sure add 1 tsp of water in each meal:bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

I wan ted to tell you that for the last week I have been purposely posting on my Calander the times both my cats poop, so I can surely let you know, they poop every two days exactly. another thing I can suggest is , cats are very scrupulous, and they really want to poop in a clean litter, when I used the clumping litter, not only I had ammonia smell no matter how many times I scooped but after a few days 4 days of new litter they would not poop until litter change, so the litter thought to be inexpensive became costly for 2 cats not until I discovered PRETTY LITTER, I have 1 Jumbo box my cats are very big, this litter is the most incredible invention for cats yet, here in Miami the litter at Walmart 1 large bag Lotus scent is $ 27.99 if is for one cat is last a month in small box, I buy 2 a month change every 15 days, there is no smell in the house and also it monitors cat's health by the color of the urine, and all I do is scoop up the poop down the toilet, and my cats just love it! me especially, if you have not tried it, when you do you will never go back to clumping litter, and this can also be an incentive for your kitty, to go easily, in the Web site is more expensive so I just go to Walmart, I am in love with this litter I live in a 1 bedroom Condo although is big their box is in the bedroom corner, even the air grill air hits it, no one would know I have 2 cats. I woke up thinking about your post today because I wanted to give you the data:bighug::bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

Thank you for the information! I don’t use clumping litter, but with two cats it’s difficult to keep litter as clean as it needs to be. Pretty litter might be the answer! Did you transition between litters or just change it?

NOPE! and they loved it!!! and so do I. with 2 cats like me, and my Coco is 1/2 Main Coon, huge and Corky is A very very big Taby, you'll need 1 bag and a jumbo litter Box, if you can buy from Chewy.com. they are very inexpensive, within two weeks empty the box, I clean my litter box in the bath tub with Mr. Clean ( I do not have a Yard, dry it and place in the new bag of Pretty Litter, I like the Lotus scent is very mild, and change it every 15 days, the litter will let you know when is time for change. the bottom of the litter where the urine falls will start to turn very green, this stuff is genius, Good Luck:bighug::bighug::cat::cat:
 
My cats are more suspicious of change; when Ive changed litter type i transition them over a month (i change box completely once a week) just to ensure my two boys don’t decide to look elsewhere to poop (oooh, moms shoes look good….)
Since Raj is already having poop issues I’d suggest at least the first time make it a mix of new and old or you won’t know if he’s holding out for his old litter
