Just noticed a small stain on carpet where she was sitting, looked at her butt and little messy back there. Took a warm cloth snd wiped seems better but cant seem to get it all. Is this a diabetus issue or something else. Never had to express anal glands btw. She is acting and eating normal as well

Don’t think diabetes related. You could ask your vet if you are concerned. Have you changed food lately?

The poo itself could be diabetes related but not sticking to his behind. I've had lots of long-hairs with PBS (poopy butt syndrome, they don't get cable TV).
Some were obese and couldn't properly groom themselves, Daniel sometimes has a turd just fall off his behind. If he's dragging his butt like a dog would do check for worms.
Pretty disgusting but Alvin got knots and some poo had nowhere to go. Every time he went again the blob just got bigger so we filled up the tub with a few inches of warm water and I put on my nasty chemical/to the elbow rubber gloves while my wife scruffed him. No fun for Alvin but it had to be done.
Alvin, many cats and dogs got their bums trimmed to end the problem.

Could be anal glands need expressing. Around $27 or so at vet. My baby is overweight, has trouble reaching back there [I think] and needs his expressed every few months. When he's having issues, he tends to turn around a lot, sit and lift the leg but then falls over or attempts a go at it but falls short and ends up grooming his belly or leg. I assist where I can. Paper towels dipped in warm water. Hands incased in gloves. While he's lying down, I hike his back leg and wash. He seems to appreciate that approach much better than the chase-him-around-the-room with the wet paper towel grabbing at his behind.

I day later, hope this is normal, doesnt seem to be bleeding

That's too hard to tell from a photo.
>any blood in the litter?
>straining to poop or pee?
>sensitive or painful to touch?
>any history of any GI problems or UTI?
>any previous problems with glands?
>I've had a cyst near my bum, very painful.
>if glands, why only one side? Anyone know if this is common?

No history of this, was just one side but they drained both, she finally peed and pooped and yes it does seem to hurt when i dapp it with warm cloth

Agree with contacting vet. Obese cats can be unable to wash that area to keep it clean; possibly this is interfering with recovery after anal gland procedure?
