Okay so I went to the Vet this morning and I thought they were going to be doing dental work on him. The Vet told me she isn't exactly sure that the whole culprit to his high BG numbers is due to his mouth. I tried to argue with her on that. I told her that he has had high numbers since January and I just think he has an infection in his mouth somewhere and I want it fixed. So March 12th they are going to be extracting a few of his upper back teeths because she said they have a lot of tartar on them and she said they may be infected. So in the meantime she just prescribed me an antibiotic of Antirobe in capsules. Supposed to give it 2 times a day. So I am PRAYING that these antibiotic pills will help do what it can and thus be able to see his glucose numbers drop. I know its not the answer I wanted when I thought they would work on his teeth and clean them and stuff but that didn't happen today. So do you guys think just with an antibiotic alone without cleaning his teeth and stuff will be enough for right now to help him feel better and be able to get his glucose numbers to go down?
