Poop on Pillow

This is driving me crazy! I cleaned out all the litter boxes this morning and still Chloe pooped on my pillow. This seems to happen every few weeks. This is the 2nd time in 6 days. Does she think she's giving me a present? The poop always looks good, except for the runny one last time. Does she want me to change the sheets? Anybody have a clue?
 
Awww. I feel for you. The only times I’ve experienced pooping on a bed turned out to be constipation . . . with a trail of squished poop.

That doesn’t sound like your situation though. I hope you find some good answers or clues!

And the deposit looked ok. The vet told me it should be softer than what I was seeing.

The only time I've experienced any kind of elimination has been when kitty didnt feel good. Trouble peed in my brand new sleep number mattress:rolleyes: that was after his DX. Waldo did the same when he pulled a tendon in his rear leg.
Zoe had poop stuck to her fur. She didnt feel well from the "runs"

I dont believe they do it to get even or spite... just an unwell feeling. :(

Hope you figure this out Its so frustrating. :bighug:

If she views your pillow as her super safe spot, my guess is she's having some pain while passing stool... either internal organ or hip/spinal joints would be my guess?

Most of the time, she uses a litter box, and there is one right next to the bed. I'm wondering if it could be arthritis. She's 17 years old and doesn't move around much. She also eats on the bed (on a cloth). She comes down in the evenings to watch TV with me or when she's really hungry and all her cat-mates are in the kitchen whining for food. Just now, she came out from under the bed, where she's been hiding since I reprimanded her. I don't make a big fuss since I'm used to it, but I say something like "Chloe, not again, you bad cat."

definitely sounds like arthritis. I would consider a joint supplement or talk to your vet about pain relief options for her.
