Timmy is now completely off of dry food. Yay! But now his numbers are coming down and I need dosing suggestions. PMPS was 237.
Sorry we didn't see your post sooner. Always better safe than sorry and with a non-depot insulin like Vetsulin every day is a new day. You'll get back on track tomorrow.I ended up giving him 0.5 units tonight. This was his first full 24 hours of finally transitioning from the dry food. I had dosed him before I received a reply and I'm always second guessing myself. I am braver, I guess, during the day. Thank you all for the guidance.![]()
Sorry Chris,

Timmy is at 107 ay +6. I fed him. Now what? I started a new post. I am bracing for tonight. Thanks for checking on us.Whoa! Just took a peek at Timmy's spreadsheet to see how he was doing-- that's quite a drop this morning! He's still in very safe numbers, but if you haven't already, you might want to give him an extra low-carb snack to try to slow him down a bit, and grab another test at +3 (or now, if that time has already passed).
He's looking good!
107 is great! And 6+ will be most likely be the lowest point out just past it, so I wouldn't worry.Timmy is at 107 ay +6. I fed him. Now what? I started a new post. I am bracing for tonight. Thanks for checking on us.
