? PMPS 200, HOW MUCH DO I GIVE?

Hey everyone, I just took Pooper's BG and its 200. 1 hour ago it was 189 so wondering if he stayed in the 100s all day since I wasn't here to test. With that said, how much insulin should I give him for his evening shot? I don't want to think of staying up through the night either. 5 units or 4.5 units?
 
No matter what dose you give, there's no guarantee it won't mean having to test tonight. Pooper's on a pretty high dose either way and the depot is full, so even if you dropped the dose, he may have an active night....there is no way to predict this

I'd give the same 5.25 you gave this morning and get a +1 and +2 to see where he goes so if you need to you can intervene sooner

It's nice to start to see some better numbers from Pooper. I'd hate to see him lose momentum
 
Well I didn't really get any responses prior to your comment Chris and I needed to give him his shot due to time schedule. So I just gave him 5 units which is very close to what he would get. I'll post at +1 and +2.
