Hi all,
We've been having trouble with our meter today and I've been sick and unable to go get a new one. I tested twice this morning, but the meter screen was acting up. I replaced the battery, no change. I believe the reading was in the 300s because it led with a 3 both times. We called our vet and they recommended a 3u dose of Vetsulin, as they want us on 3u anyway. I wasn't comfortable with that increase without being able to see, but I did give 2.25u.
Tested again tonight, and the PMPS is 186. We've stalled an hour and it's only risen by 11. What should we do?
Edit to mention: I was with Romulus all day after his AM shot because I was worried, but he was the most "normal" (like his pre-diabetes self) I've seen him in months.
