Sweet Pea is low again tonight. She has been dropping steadily. I am holding food for now. At what point do I just give her the food? I don't want her dropping much lower since she prone to bounces.
 
You would hold the food and retest in 20 minutes to see if she is coming up.

Repost when you have the test :)
 
Does Sweet Pea let you know if she is dropping?
Dre starts scavenging for food and luckily he will wake me up--
If he didn't (and sometimes I do anyway if he has been looking for a reduction ) I personally bump up his pre shot food to 8-10% carb (usually Max cat venison) and he "usually" slows the surf--- otherwise he gets under 5% foods.
no guarentees when it comes to kittys!

She doesn't anymore. She did at the beginning. She would even jump and eat when the insulin kicked in, even if she wasn't low. I had to put out a buffet of fancy feast until she found something she wanted tonight. Her +1 was 227.

I have found Dre isn't quite as persistent as he was in the beginning as well.... which is kind of good because it may mean they aren't freaking out with normal numbers. Of course the downside is but the time they freak out you have a tsunami of a bounce the next day!!
227 sounds like a surf may be coming unless she is a champion diver like Dre:eek:

Sweet Pea loves bouncing. Surprisingly her sister, who really dislikes her, has alerted me when she starts going hypo.
