Please advise me about Romeo's current condition

For the last couple of days, Romeo has been hyperactive and not eating as much as usual. He is urinating quite a bit and his stools are somewhat loose. The only way I can test him is by putting him in a cat bag and lately he has been fighting me so much that I haven't been able to do it. I finally got him in a cage and plan to put him in the bag and test him. A friend is going to help me do that later today--it takes a village to test the boy.

Does anyone have an idea about what might be going on with him? About a month ago, the vet recommended that he get 3 units of Prozinc in the morning and 2 at night. When he started eating less in the morning, I only gave him 2 units in the morning and 1 unit at night.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome. Is there any way you can share some of your blood sugar test data with us? Most of us have spreadsheets that contain the data, and they help us give suggestions about insulin dosing. Details about how to do that are in this post: New? How You Can Help Us Help You!

How is Romeo today?
