? Plant based digestive enzymes

Does it have any taste to it? Can you mix it in their food? Leo is kind of off his food right now but all his blood work and ultra sounds are normal. Diabetes still in remission. His vet thinks he's just tired of his current canned food since he prefers catching and eating birds lately which he has never ever done before. I'm out of options for food since duck is the only thing he can eat with his IBD. I hate to resort to budesonide which I know I will need to use if I have to feed him another kind of canned food. If he's having a mild IBD flare I thought maybe the digestive enzymes might help. Oh how I wish they would come up with a cure for IBD! It's so very frustrating.

i know you said duck is only thing he can eat with his ibd but, wanted to say i thought my cat was limited to his homemade cooked turkey & pumpkin food only but, we found out after he got into other cats food that he can eat fancy feast 'creamy delights chicken with touch of milk in creamy sauce' with no issues whatsoever even though he can't tolerate any other commercial cat food at all. maybe you could try a can or two of that to give him something different during week?? it's suppose to be easily digestible.

He usually throws up chicken but it may be worth a try. Currently he is on a limited ingredient single protein grain free. Is the fancy feast creamy delight grilled chicken low carb?

it's 2.5% carb for the grilled/minced version. the pate version is a tad bit less but, not by much however none of my cats liked the pate version and they like pate foods.

Thanks everyone for your recommendations and suggestions. I wonder sometimes if I'll ever have a cat who doesn't have problems. Seems I'm destined to take care of cats with health issues. Anyone else feel like that?

No taste at all - checked it myself. I mix about 1/8 tsp into each of Teasel's wet food meals.
