My first indication that something was wrong with Pixie was his fur loss. He had a huge patch of
nothing under his neck. Then when the lethargy set in I took him in and got the diabetes diagnosis.
Now Pix is a long haired chubby who never, ever grooms himself. We would shave him down every summer
to help with the fur getting all matted up.
So now I wake up and come home to little tuffs of fur scattered throughout the house...almost looks like he was
in a scuffle.
He now has bald patches on his back and top of his hind end.
All other bloodwork checked out with him at the vets.
Is this going to resolve itself when he is regulated?
Is there anything I can be doing for him?
I don't really see him grooming or licking it out....
