Yesterday's

He is starting out a bit higher today because of stress. Our room was right next to the ice machine and all night with the ice... Poor guy hardly slept... He did sleep with me for a while and has continued his awesome bathroom streak, a factor I was very concerned about... I gave more RR and upped the Gaba a bit more. Vet said to go to 100mg, but I only gave about 60mg yesterday. He is acclimating well to the car today and is sleeping now.

He had some leaky poo butt all over the hotel chair.. *sigh* I guess he was mad that he could not eat that kibble... Lol

I might pad the dose a bit to meet the stress because he is creeping up in the yellows again... Maybe by 1-3 u...?? What do you think @Wendy&Neko

It is a guide that @Wendy&Neko sent to me that @JeffJ developed.. A total lifesaver! I have added things to our own list, but followed this very strictly. I don't know what we would have done without it!

It was a surprise for sure.. He was just scoping out the room and suddenly made a bee line super fast to something on the floor... Next thing I know he was chewing..

Doing good today. He is much more mellow and is choosing to catch up on sleep. His breathing has returned to normal and he is just comfortably dozing! Numbers looking a little better today, but holding steady!

As for dose, he got to 101 on this dose yesterday. Where do you want his nadirs to be while travelling? And how much kibble did he get? That could impact his numbers.

Oh yes! I remember you saying that now! I am so sorry! I get lost in it all sometimes!

As for dose, he got to 101 on this dose yesterday. Where do you want his nadirs to be while travelling? And how much kibble did he get? That could impact his numbers.

I do not want them any lower than, say, 80... But, stress is a factor. He did not actually eat any of the kibble, unless he found some more somewhere while I was sleeping... We went over the room with a flashlight 3 different times and did not find anymore, but there could have been some we missed. He might be a touch lower today as he seems to be acclimating even more so and is just snoozing away.. I have gotten him out and taken him walking a few times and he is alert and awake then, but chilled and mellow in the car... So, maybe depending on today, the dose might be just fine as he settles into the routine...

Well... He may just be fine where he is at. I just got a 113 at a +6... He ate lc at +1.. It seems as if he is really settling in nicely..

We are swinging around Denver at the moment. Trying to avoid all the traffic and stress of cities all together.. He has been sleeping most of the day away. It makes sense as he was pretty alert for the whole ride and hotel stay. He just ate a little while ago and we got out and stretched our legs. Allowing him to walk around outside is helping a lot. He actually just played with me in the kennel with his leash as I was unclipping it from the harness. He grabbed at it and tried to chase it. The drive is long, but we are not even close to done... lol

You are lucky to have a co-driver. Wendy drove herself (I think). So did I. The drive must be a lot easier with a co-driver. I don't know if you are more excited, or if Theresa and I are more excited about Pig's upcoming SRT !!!

For sure! Man, it would have nice to be able to pull the $ for CSU... An easier drive, for sure... But, I have a really good feeling about this and WSU. I am working on a way to update from the road, but right now we can only do bits and pieces.. Learning as we go! Lol..

Absolutley! Yesterday was pretty frantic because packing took longer than anticipated. Mainly because I was terrified of forgetting something that I just packed everything... Haha! I have gotten some of the kits I packed and a few other things.. The inside car view will be perfect!

What did you do with Tail?

Oh! He went to the vet about his ear on Thursday and the low-down on that is on the 5/3 post.. He was given topical steroids and I have my brother staying with him. My brother is the only one that Tail will allow close to him, really, so Michael is just going to live there until we get back!
