I think I made the right choices on dosing last night. I gave .5uR at the +8 mark to help keep Pig's numbers from climbing even higher and that stopped the climb and put him squarely at 300 at his pmps. Now, according to my R scale, he should have gotten a 1uR dose with his pm shot. However, considering that R does effect concurrent cycles, I felt I should air on the side of caution and give a dose off the old R scale. So, I only gave him .75uR. He was at a 272 on his +3 test, meaning there would be a further drop still in the cycle. Now, I know that 272 is still a very high number and hypo is not something I am worried about, but at this point I want to ease his system down and not incite anymore bounces. He is so temperamental to any sugar changes that it needs, in my eyes, to be a very gradual decline. Considering that his amps was @ 284, I feel like I made the right choice and we are back on even footing. I continued with the current R scale this morning, which meant a full 1uR dose. I am interested to see where he will go with this today.
@Wendy&Neko I am working on putting in a separate tab for R scales and recorded last nights dose for the mid-cycle. I hope I am doing this right. My feeble attempt to mimic @Stacy & Asia Levemir split in the SS did not turn out how I intended..
I am still figuring the whole google sheets thing out!
