I have bougth the phos binder epakitin and my cats refuse to eat after i put it in. I needed to give Prop something else so i could give her her shot, but is this something they can get used to like when we went from dry to wet and how should i do it?

Yes, they probably need time to get used to it. Also, it should only go into the food the kidney cat eats . When I started using it, I started by adding just a tiny bit into her wet food and increased it very slowly.

Ok thanks. Both my cats have kidney issues, but both loves some food that are not kidney friendly. i would like to give it to a two of props four meals daily, since she loves it and would be great to feed at insulintime so im sure she eats. But we need to practice with smallamounts i guess.

You might want to try aluminum hydroxide binder to see if it is accepted better than the binder that you are using. I bought mine at thrivingpets.com.
