This is the 2 year anniversary of me finding this wonderful page in my hours of sheer terror and despair. 2 years ago Phoebe went DKA. It's been a long rough road at times. But with all the help from everyone on here we've come along way. Thank you everyone for helping Phoebe and Me!

Hi Eric, happy anniversary to you and Phoebe! I remember so well when you joined. I’m glad you found FDMB and we were able to help sweet Phoebe. I haven’t been around much lately because, sadly, I lost my sweet boy last week.:( http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/colin.197745/
I also have another sick kitty that I’m tending to, so I haven’t checked in like I usually do. I’m glad to see Phoebe looking good and happy. Much improved from 2 years ago!!!!!!

Oh my Sharon my prayers are with you. I'm so sorry to read this. I'm sorry Colin is gone. I didn't know. My heart breaks for you.

Eric, I wonder how Phoebe would do with a fat 2u? It seems like you're seeing more pinks again, and it would be good to try to get rid of those if you can do it without sending her into the lime greens again. If your weekend lets you get some extra tests in, it might be worth a try.

515 @ PMPS
I had a feeling she'd be higher at PMPS after only giving her 1u this morning.

Please don't be mad, but I still wonder if Lantus or Levemir might be worth a try for Phoebes. They are longer lasting and might help her stay more stable and keep her from bouncing all over. I don't mean to nag, so please feel free to just roll your eyes at me and ignore this post :) :bighug:

I'll give it a thought. Phoebe just got her refill of Prozinc. But Phoebe was doing really good with her numbers.
