Yes she did. This is nervous territory for me.Wow! She took that green without even bouncing! That's fantastic!
That's my plan. I just hope I don't give too much hahaha! She is lower than we've seen at a +2 tonight. Might be a good night to plan for an extra test, and/or give her a nice hearty snack before you go to sleep.
Yeah tell me about it!Slow down Phoebe!

Just a bounce - she'll come down.450 @ AMPS

to get through work today! She acts normal all the time except for when she goes really low as she was yesterday. She was lying around a lot yesterday so I knew she was going low or was low.Does she act any different when she's bouncing like this or when she's in green numbers, Eric?
Phoebe is great this morning! At work respond later lolOh, sweet Phoebe, I'm sorry you don't feel well this morning. Those higher numbers are likely a bit of a bounce, but it looks like too much gravy, too. Carbs can make them feel off (and extra bouncy) for a few days afterwards. The next time she does this, try steering with her regular food instead of the high carb food, unless she drops into the lower 40's. For most cats, regular food is enough to keep them surfing. We know Phoebe is special, but I'd try to avoid the carbs if you can since it seems she's quite sensitive to them, and prone to bouncing already.
Hopefully she'll get back to her usual self quickly! Great job keeping an eye on her last night, and I'm guessing you might need some of thisto get through work today!
Thank you so much for the kind words Rachel! I wish I would of gotten her into those beautiful healing numbers a long time ago.Eric, Phoebe is looking SO GREAT these days! I haven't been able to be around as much as usual for the past few weeks, so I've just now gotten a chance to take a good look at her SS. I LOVE seeing all those blues and greens mid cycle and those yellows at preshot! Even the higher numbers are okay since we know they're bounces. You've done such a great job really taking control of things. It's really a joy to see her coming down into those beautiful, healing numbers!
You're getting her there now, Eric. It's hard not to feel anxious about hypos, testing more, etc.Thank you so much for the kind words Rachel! I wish I would of gotten her into those beautiful healing numbers a long time ago.
Actually I got roped into repairing my brother-in-law roof tomorrow. In 90-plus degree weather ouch!Ouch on that AMPS. Her last red came from an overnight green, so I'm going to choose to be optimistic that that's what happened for this morning as well.
Do you get a three day weekend, Eric? If so, I hope you enjoy the extra rest!
Thank you Rachel! The important thing is you're getting her there now. You do what you can when you can.![]()
Thank you Sharon!Pretty girl!
