I finally have some numbers in Peytin's spreadsheet :)
I looked up the carbs and phosphorus for the food the vet was feeding him and it's not terrible. Hill's wet AD has 12% carbs and 1.00 phosphorus. It shouldn't be hard for me to switch to other foods with that one being so close to the under 10% range. It's MUCH better than the Hill's WD that he was getting with 25% carbs. Yikes!

I last checked his BG at 3:30 and it was 380
 
You may want to check out the Friskies Special Diet, since he also has renal disease.

Or anything with low phosphorus (there is a phosphorus chart at Cat Info, too).
 
I wrote down the ones that were lower in carbs and phosphorus. First time I had to look at both but there were still a good bit of options. I've started mixing some I'm with the AD. I'll slowly back off until I have him converted.
