Petsitter left the insulin out of fridge

My pet sitter forgot to put the insulin back in the fridge and the second sitter found it about 2 hours later. She put it back in the fridge when she saw it. Is it going to be ok to use?

Calley needed insulin tonight...her bg was over 200 but not real high.

Do I need to worry about the insulin being bad?

It may be OK.

It may poop out earlier than it would have otherwise, ie last 3 months instead of 4. You'll see it in the numbers - they'll start rising a fair bit.

We'll see how the numbers go. I'm going to need more insulin soon anyways as the bottle is getting close to empty. I may switch her to lantus if I buy more ....guess it depends on her continuing towards remission. If that is how she is going.
