A normal cat is 50-130. His current blood sugar is higher than that. We want to bring it down. Any foods with carbs or sugars in them will spike his blood sugar. So we were testing removing all high carb foods from his diet. But by adding that dry food back or giving high carb supplements that is going to mess with that.
Thats why i said to try to stay consistent with the below foods since most are low carb - the only one i worry about is taste of the wild as i think thats too high carb! and we are going to test the impact of the vitamins ( "Daily Best" multi-vitamin, Gentle digest (probiotic chewable), lysium and dsm chewable) tomorrow right? Can we also stop the taste of the wild?
Wellness grain free turkey, chicken and chicken and beef (with dry food sprinkled on top)
a few licks of EVO chicken and turkey 9with dry food sprinkled on top)
Young Again zero carbs with a little bit of Taste of the Wild
White meat chicken (with dry food sprinkled on top)
a few bits of deli turkey to get his B12 pill down (i usually just get half down that way)
supplements and freeze-dried meats
also giving him "Daily Best" multi-vitamin, Gentle digest (probiotic chewable), lysium and dsm chewable
