I'm sure there is a lot of good info here, but I have some issues with several of the things it says about diabetes, notably:
Remember, finding ketones occasionally is not a problem but a positive dipstick three days in a row is a criterion for a vet visit.
I beg to differ. If your cat has ketones, even just a little, you should ALWAYS take him or her to the vet ASAP.

A bottle of insulin, when stored properly, should last 6 to 8 weeks. After that time it should probably be replaced.
Now that's just ridiculous. As we all know, insulin, if stored properly,can last as long as 6 months! :rolleyes:

There were other things, but those were the two that really got my attention. Just proves that you should use many different sources when researching a condition, so you can make the most informed decisions.
