Pest Control

Hi, all,

Hope everyone is doing well. Do any of you have experience with pest control? I have a wasp problem by my house fascia near my front door. My cat is indoors only. The pest control company said they use delta dust and delta guard. I asked the vet if that should be fine and she said since they're working on the exterior of the house, as long as we don't smell anything inside the house, we should be fine. If we smell anything, we should open a window to ventilate. I've never used pest control before so am nervous if it is worth having them come out because I dont want to chance exposing my cat to anything. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I assume you should be on guard that if your cat is an indoor-outdoor cat that neither a wasp goes into the house to make sure that cat does not eat one, dead or alive, the venom oof the insecticide will be in the wasp system

I've wondered about this too, RJ. We've had ants in the past and I always get nervous that they will come back and I'll need to do a deep dive on if pest control is safe for our cats or what. I don't have an answer for you though, I'm sorry. Let me know if you find out anything!
