My 6mo. old (non diabetic) kitten has been vomiting since last night. Also had a bit of diarrhea just once.
I would like to try pepcid with baby food and was wondering if I can
administer Pepcid to a 5lb. kitten....if so, how much?

I believe you can give 1/4 of a 10mg tablet. You can dissolve in water and administer with an oral syringe.

That could be too much for a 5 pound juvenile. You can dissolve that in some water, mix well with a bit of food, and maybe measure out half of the mix to give which would be 1/8 of a tablet.

Pepcid (Famotidine) tastes terrible. I would put a 1/4 if 10 mg or less in a gelcap and administer that. Mixing with food or dissolving and syringing is not the best.

A pill pocket might work too.

Just not sure if that would be too much for a 5 lb juvenile.
