Not a lot to report thankfully. Peeka had another nice night in the blues, even below 150 for a while. I woke up at 4 to find her sleeping on the floor next to my bed. I'm going to take that to mean she misses sleeping next to me at odd hours in the night, there was plenty of scratches to be had when I found her there.

Regarding the dose, I think we will hold her here for another week, since we have been seeing good numbers recently and can reassess later this week, unless others disagree, I think that may be the course of action currently. I hope everyone has a great day!

Two really nice cycles last night and this AM. Be interesting to see where Peeka will be at PMPS today (pink or yellow?).

I don't think you have much wiggle room left to tweak the Vetsulin dose safely, Peter. I am glad you're consulting with your vet about switching to a longer-acting insulin.

With the better numbers, are you seeing any changes in the following:

* Peeing volume/frequency.

* Coat condition.

* Appetite.

* Weight (loss/gain).

* Energy levels / mood?

If you wanted to help her get up to the bed you might consider putting a box or similar a bit lower than the height of the top of the mattress next to the bed so that she might be able to negotiate the climb in stages (or get her some kitty steps).

I told our vet the other day, I do feel like we are seeing her drink less and peeing less. That said, I still try and encourage her to go before leaving the house and when we get home to avoid my wife having to take care of anything.

I don't know that anything changed one way or the other with her weight, coat condition, or appetite. She has always been very hungry when we get home from work, and she has continued to greet us in the hallway when we arrive and demand food lol. I can definitely keep an eye on it, but I do think she has had the same appetite throughout.

Her energy levels seemed to have found a new level the last few days, that could just be me trying to be optimistic, but she does seem to be a little more alert during the morning and evening times than before, and more willing to "play". Her neuropathy is still at a point where she is mostly laying on her side or sitting down uncomfortably on her back legs, kitty steps may be our next purchase.

I'll keep everyone posted for the PMPS numbers, hoping for something in the 200's again, but I'm concerned based on her recent activity, it may be somewhere in the 300's.
