Is it that I can't shoot under 200/above 175 or .25 is still too much? He threw up a lot today...

You're fine with a 63 for a mid-cycle test...you only have to start worrying if he drops into the 40s. and you still have 5 hours to go yet until pmps. He should be rising by then. It maybe he is trying to go OTJ and you may find that you will only have to give insulin either once a day or as needed before his pancreas completely takes over.

Did he eat okay today? After the puking I mean.

Thanks again Mel :) I fed Paw this morning, DH says he ate this evening (must be what he threw up), & he was asking to eat/got fed again a short while ago. I have noticed that I was feeding 2 cans (fancy feast classic) a day & now he is looking for 3 cans a day, so increased appetite definitely - or maybe he knows when his #'s are dropping. We'll be testing within the next half hour so I'll update his chart again soon (and probably have some off the wall number or question again!)

Oh yes, our #'s are making zero sense! We're at 314 now, shot time. I feel like I should have a roulette wheel to tell me how much to shoot each time.

lol It is called a bounce, he went lower than his liver is use to, so it sent out an SOS "Kitty going down" it will just take awhile for his liver to realize that 64 is just fine and there is no reason to panic.
