Her numbers are a bit high. Quick question the heater went out in the house with 4 degree temp no less. We pulled out an old electric floor heater and camped out in the living room. Was do able but chilly as heck and she shivered unless she was under the covers with me. Could this have increased her BG? Went on for 3 days till I could get another heater. I do know that the tuna for snack raised it some too.

Oh my! Hope you're all warm now! I don't know about the increase. That's some crazy weather!

Hope you are all nice and snuggly warm now.

Patches may have been stressed a little with the changes that went on when your heat was off. See how she does today.

And maybe a slight increase to 1.25 starting over the weekend if you are able to monitor and get some mid-cycle tests. Seems like she has been in pinks and yellows for a long time on just 1 unit. Let's see who else chimes in on this suggestion.

I'm with Misty. I would definitely go up to 1.25 when you can monitor midcycle. Her numbers aren't bad, but she definitely has room to drop.

In my year+ I've found that anything and everything effects the BG. ANY stress, whether physical or mental will mess with the numbers. With Lucian, anything from going for a ride (to the vet) or hacking up a hairball with shoot his numbers up. I'm betting being that cold didn't have a good effect on her numbers.

Hope you're all toasty and warm now. cat_pet_icon :YMHUG:
