Password Change Not Working

Can someone please tell me why, when I request a password reset and am sent a temporary password... I'm able to get back into my account with the temporary password but then when I try to choose a new password and it tells me I have to put in the current password... I copy and paste then only password I have, which is the one I've been sent, and it says its wrong every time. I'm so frustrated. I've been trying to do this all day, with multiple password resets.
