Party over here!! Tommy finally officially OTJ

Tommy's two week trial ended yesterday and today is PARTY DAY!!!!!!!!!!! I am so extremely happy that he is doing so well. Tommy was diagnosed in January 18th of this year and started on Lantus on February 7th. I still remember how scared we were to first test him and give him his first shot. It was so weird to wake up this morning and not have to test him and just feed him. I think he was surprised too....he looked at me like"really, I don't need to get poked first?" I know that his remission might be temporary, but we are jumping for joy now and we are relishing in his "off-the-juiceness". flip_cat flip_cat

I remember my first post on this website and how so overwhelmed my BF and I were at hearing that Tommy was indeed diabetic. We were devastated and scared as to how we would be able to help stabilize Tommy's glucose levels and hopefully avoid all the complications that come from this disease. I know that Tommy would not be doing this well and gotten to this point if it were not for this website and all of its wonderful people on it. We have learned so much from you all and I know that I am thankful to all who answered my questions and helped me not to feel so overwhelmed. Thank you all!! Mimi & Tommy cat_pet_icon

Our boy Buca had his party yesterday too!!!!! Isn't it such a relief?!?! And to be able to get some sleep! Wow! hahaha
