bit high tonight...wondering if she is getting into something I haven't found. She much more active though caught 2 mice (we live in the country) and playing with her new toy like its her mission to kill it. Love seeing that but not very appreciative of the live mouse she dropped on my foot last night.

Not too different. You can always raise the dose a smidge and see if she drops alittle, when you can monitor.

I had a Siamese years ago and a house with mice. He would jump up on the bed in the middle of the night. When I reached down to pet him, there was a wiggly, wet mouse in his mouth. EEK! Unfortunately it happened more than once.

ohmygod_smile  Love the mouse tales. They are bringing you gifts.
One of my civies (Nitro-GA) was an indoor-mostly/outdoor kitty. Would bring birds/field mice/frogs and leave them by the front door for me on her way into the house. I would pet her and say thank-you. Then I would go outside and give the gifts a proper burial in the woods next to my house. Made sure Nitro didn't see me.

Several years ago, Reekoe, one of our civies, caught a mouse on the deck of our apartment while he was out there sunning. We had the door open as it was a nice day. He came blasting inside the apartment with the mouse hanging out of his mouth. My husband hopped up to catch him so he wouldn't drop the live mouse inside our apartment, followed Reekoe into the bedroom, was about to grab the mouse out of his mouth, and Reekoe went "gulp" and swallowed the mouse alive and whole :? He later puked up said mouse, still whole, but no longer alive.

Patches' brother Eeyore was on the bed with us one night and suddenly he dove down a small gap where the mattress didn't fit right into the corner of the walls. We looked over and saw nothing but his back legs poking up from the gap, wiggling back and forth. We grabbed him laughing and pulled him out. Thing was what we didn't know was he had gone there to get a mouse and when we pulled him out he dropped it in my bed. Three kids and one momma who had been watching a scary movie peeled off that bed in flash.   That's still one of my favorite kitty memories.
