"PARSE" error on spreadsheet

i typed a message on the spreadsheet and it was too long i guess. got a message of "PARSE" error. what does that mean. i can't seem to type anything in the messag section.

Many of us have been having problems with the SS. I haven't gotten that error but I have had problems with it letting me fill in and with the autocolor. I suggest you log off google and then log back in.

And maybe clear your history &/or cache.

In IE, its Tools, Delete Browsing History. Depending on the version, you may get to select what specifically should be deleted.
