I think my little one might have pancreatitis (the vet will know for sure tomorrow). Does anyone have any experience with this? Advice?? She was given some sulcrate for her stomach and was told to stop eating the dry food....is this something I should do gradually?

Depending on how serious this is. Your cat may need to be in the hospital or can be managed at home. The first time my kitty had it she was in the hospital for about five days. She threw up all over the house for about eight hours would not eat and so I took her to the vet.
She got IV fluids, pain meds, anti nausea meds. This is nothing to mess with. It can be very serious. Some folks manage it at home after a vet visit.
Please be vigilant about it. The main thing to manage is the nausea and to make sure kitty eats and is pain free. Pancreatitis can be very painful.

Thank you Terri!! She just came back from the vet (she spent most of the day there). She has some pain meds (bupe) and stomach meds, she isn't throwing up and she is still eating (thankfully). Are those common things to look out for with this?

She had a bunch of blood tests today and I think the results will be in tmorrrow! I will let you know when I hear! Thank you for that link it was really informative! Meika is already starting to act better! She is back to her cuddling bedtime routine! I think the stomach meds have made a big difference
