We stopped the Leukeran a few days ago when she first had a flare as it makes her a little nauseous. She was doing great but my 99 yr old mother gave her table food and she flared again. I have ondansetron and will try it. A few minutes ago she had terrible diarrhea and vomited clear liquid. I just finished giving her sub q fluids and three units of Lantus and she’s resting on a chair. I’ll be scanning her libre to check on her.Have you tried ondansetron for nausea? I find it's better than Cerenia. Especially since she's getting Leukeran/chlorambucil. Cats on the every other day dosing of chlorambucil often stay nauseated for quite a while. When I switched Neko to the every two week dosing, it was so much better for her (and me).
How long until shot time? Can you syringe feed her? She should get at least a half dose, maybe more. I used to shoot full dose as long as I could syringe 2/3 the calories Neko needed. And your kitty is pretty high. A couple posts that might help:
OK, your spreadsheet is not up to date, so I guess from what you had written there. I hope the ondansetron helps.

She was handling the Chlorambucil well. The pancreatitis has been her downfall. I recently found out she was getting table food from my mom who has very severe dementia, and suspect it helped trigger flares. I’ve thrown the kitchen sink at her this week except the chlorambucil but since she’s developed such severe diarrhea , I’m wondering if it’s worth one final try. The only reason I haven’t given it to her is, I’m afraid it might upset her stomach even more.I found it took a good 5-7 days for the nausea effects to clear out from chlorambucil when I switched Neko from EOD to the tow week protocol. She was nauseous all the time until then.
Best of luck with the hard decision.![]()
