Pancreatic enzymes

Pancreatic enzymes - anyone using them? Are you using porcine, bovine or plant based? Can you get yours with out a prescription?

Hi Sharyn, I have been using Pancrezyme off and on.... I've been having difficulty getting my kitty to eat, so currently, I'm not adding any to his food. I believe it is prescription only, and it is porcine. If your kitty has EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency), there is a group specifically for felines. http://epiincats.webs.com/
I have not been dealing with this very long, so I know very little. There is some good info on that page.
