Pancreas Booster

I just read about a product byPetAlive .....Pancreas Booster.....it claims to improve pancreatic functioning in cats. Has any one had any experience with this product? When I check out the ingredient list, what should I be looking for..both positive and negative? If the ingredients check out, might it help Linus deal with his pancreatitis

The pancreas has 2 major functions - insulin secretion into the blood stream and digestive enzyme release into the GI tract. What part is it supposed to improve? Do they cite any peer-reviewed research?

Here is what is in it.

• Bromelain
• Papain
• Gymnema (Gymnema Sylvestre)
• Goat's Rue (Galega officinalis)
• Sweet fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)

Bromelain and papain are enzymes which may help break down food.

Note that they say it is not FDA approved.
