Linus is doing well with his prozinc insulin...regulated with testing by me and his vet....on average under 200. He still has high numbers on his pancreas tests, tho. He was taking antibiotics, which did not seem to help. He is currently on pain meds to help.
There is a homeopathic pill called Pancreas Booster, by PetAlive, that has been recommended as a more natural way of getting the pancreas under control. Does anyone have any experience with is? What will it do to his numbers? Should I give it a whirl?

I have no ideas on that per se.

You could do a literature search on http://www.pubmed.gov to see if you can find any research on the ingredients. I'm not on my PC right now, or I'd ask you to list the ingredients and I'd search.

Ingredients in PANCREAS BOOSTER by PetAlive....... Might any of these ingredients interfere with insulin ?
Bromelain is a mixture of sulfur-containing protein-digesting enzymes and is present in all parts of the pineapple plant. This natural ingredient has been researched for its ability to support the pancreas.
Papain is an enzyme found in papaya (Carica papaya) fruit latex. Its utility is in breaking down tough meat fibers.
Gymnema (Gymnema Sylvestre) has been researched for its ability to promote and support healthy levels of sugar in the blood.
Goat's Rue (Galega officinalis) contains guanidine, a substance that supports healthy blood sugar levels.
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) has been researched for its bitter principles and potential ability to support blood sugar levels.

Now take each ingredient and either do a Google search or a more specific PubMed search and see what you find.

I'm at work and not able to spend time doing the research.

As much as I could understand, there is nothing in the ingredients on the negative side. Some say they lower insulin levels. I think I might try it and check his levels frequently.
Thanx for the help.
Any other suggestion gladly accepted!!

Start low, and go slow with adding in anything, so you have time to intervene if necessary.
