Overwhelmed fur mama

Located in Wisconsin. My fur baby got diagnosed March 7th. I have not been able to start treat ment as I spent what I could to find out what was wrong. Brought him in originally for his hind legs giving out and not being able to walk more then a couple steps with out laying down. He is declining and I am worried the vet estimate almost 800 dollars. On there was alphatrak 2, prozinc, syringes and for them to do a curve and a couple other tests. I am trying to get everything I can and so far have only gotten the pet test meter if anyone could help with any of the other things I would greatly appreciate it. I am desperate and scared and overwhelmed. I have reached out for assistance and to foundations with no luck. And I am scared because if he declines to much I don't even have the means to bring him in. Sorry for the long post. Thank you for accepting me here.
 
Yes I did... But I don't believe it program thru them was called that. I reached out to other foundations and non profits... But going to check out the link now. Thank you so so much.
 
I know you just bought the pet test meter, but many of us use the ReliOn human meter from Walmart. It is under $20 and 100 test strips are $17.88. The Alpha trac strips are very expensive. So if you haven’t received that meter yet and/or haven’t used it yet, see if you can return it. You will save so much money in the long run.
 
I received the pet test one already but only had to pay for the shipping. I did notice that the relion is what most were using am hoping to come up with a way to get that. Thank you so much ❤️
 
I am going to go get the prescription in the morning. DCIN reached out to me and I got a response once. I may have emailed too much. I just didnt know how to get the script from me to them. So hopeful I will hear from them. I don't want to mess it up. So hoping everything goes smooth tomorrow. Thank you ❤️

DCIN will send you a Relion Premier meter, strips and lancets or we can reimburse you via Paypal if you go buy them yourself. (Just save the reciept)

The meter is $9, a box of 50 strips is $9, 100 strips is $17.88 and a box of Relion THIN lancets is less than $2. (don't get the ultra thin or micro thin)
