Out of strips and can't get any - what do I do?

Long story short, I thought I had more strips but I dont.
I am in a really bad financial situation and in no way shape or form can come up with 50 dollars to buy more strips..


I have applied for assistance with DCIN but understand that can take a week or 2. So what do I do? I don't think I should blindly give him 2 units.. I'm thinking a temporary reduction to 1.5 until I get paid in a week and a half?
 
I saw this on Facebook earlier, but can't find it again. What was the advice they gave you?

Are there any local Buy Sell Trade groups? Craigslist? Local human diabetic groups? Sometimes people donate old stuff

When do you think you'll be able to get more strips?

I think 1.5U would be ok, but I am honestly uncomfortable advising any dose without testing. If you do reduce, be sure to keep an eye on ketones.

I dont known how I will be able to get any for 11 days... I guess I will have to go with 1.5 for now.
I'm going to post in a local group that people often help others but I don't live in a big city..

I didn't really get much specific advice on facebook and just gave 2 units this a.m as I had to leave for work. I check on him everyday at lunch tho. I will find the post and link it.

It is just about shot time again..
 
I cross border shopped for cheap strips, so not much help. eBay often has good prices for strips.
