OTJ Trial Question

Hey everyone-it's been awhile since I've posted, the past month or so has been very busy w/me buying a new house & moving!! Anyway-Mittens' numbers have been excellent lately (suprising given the recent move) and he is down to .25u. His preshots & nadirs lately have been in the greens (kinda happened all of a sudden). When should I start considering an OTJ trial & how does that work? I certainly don't want to start it too soon & lose all the progress we've made so far.

Just take him off and watch him with your meter. Don't shoot unless he goes above 150 and stays there for more than a couple days. He's officially OTJ if he can maintain BGs between 40-120 with the majority of the time in double digits for 14days.

Some walk them all the way down to mere drops but Maxwell's lowest dose was .5u and this November 1st he'll have been OTJ for 4 years!! And the worst that's gonna happen if he fails the trial is you just start back on his last best dose.

Don't worry if early in the trial if he throws you a couple readings above 120. As long as it isn't sky high.
