WCR: She ate her early morning snack at +10.5 (woke up almost too late for it), and ate her breffis, although a bit late again this morning. I had to get a test last night to see where she was at after seeing the 98. I already knew she rises in the evening than during the day. I'm guessing that the pancreas IS working since her #s have been good since I've removed the insulin. I don't know. My thinking is that IF her pancreas wasn't working, her #s would be rising by now (anti-jinx). I may get some sporadic tests just to ease my mind, and/or see how she's progressing. I'll ensure that she's getting fed as regularly as possible. I don't want to mess anything up. Last night, my husband told me that he feels like this is too good to be true when I told him that her PS # rose, and I saw that +2, but he didn't want to say anything to me about it. Only time will tell if she succeeds, and I hope she does.

Unfortunately, I can't see well enough to see the 0.10u, which is the reason why I went from 0.25u to nothing. I don't even know where that would be at on the syringe if I could see well enough. I've had micro-dosing issues before, and only guessed at where they'd be. It sucks getting older. :(

Sending tons of healing vines, positive thoughts, and prayers to whoever needs them.

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone, including Blackie, to have great #s... For everyone, including Blackie, to be permanently OTJ.

Go Blackie!!! :D:D:D:D :cat:

Hi Angela,
Some of us who have been very nearsighted our whole lives feel lucky eventually to have what my eye doctor calls the "second sight": if you take off your glasses you can see tiny details up close--no magnifying glasses needed. One of the perks of middle/old age: your eyesight gets better (but only if you are nearsighted to begin with)!
I hope that Blackie keeps on giving you greens.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Thanks, Ella, but I'm farsighted, not nearsighted, unfortunately. I need reading glasses and magnifying glasses on top of them to try and see the minutest of details, and even with those glasses sets, it's not easy. I KNOW I need to have my eyes checked, and get new glasses, but that costs money, and right now we don't it since we've just purchased a new vehicle for DH so that he can get to work. Not to sound like a pity party here, but in this household, I'm last. LOL

Happy Day 4!!
