Today is Day 14, the full 2 week period ends at 6:30am tomorrow ::antijinx:: She's at 30 +13.25 days, so I'm hoping we won't have to call the party off!

Count me in! I could use a good Party! What can I bring?

VERY HAPPY for You and Kitten! :-D

I will bring the fancy feast!!

:RAHCAT :RAHCAT \M/ :thumbup :YMPEACE: flip_cat dancing_cat cat_pet_icon

We're there too! Wouldn't miss it!!!

I'll bring the hats!!! (Grayson's siblings offered to give up theirs!!!)

At 6:30 am? I'll definitely be bringing the coffee! And Bob will bring the shrimp if he doesn't eat it all on the way!

I know, I'm not real excited about 6:30 either, but it's a milestone so....how bout we just party all day? Well, I wish anyways, I'll be working.

Mr. P will not be attending as he says he has to step out for a few other parties, evidently Jenn is planning an all night rave?

This could be a great excuse to make cake....I love cake.

Thanks guys, I'd never have figured all this out on my own.

Cathy -

I think I speak for all of us when I say it's heartwarming to see one of our babies do so amazing and go OTJ!!! We're all happy for you and Kitten (I'm a little jealous too!). It's been a fast, but amazing ride to see how it's happened for her. I think there was an OTJ party when I first joined, but Kitten is the first that I feel like I know.

Hoping you'll visit us often, check in on our babies, and keep us updated on Kitten's successes.

Yep that's right...We will see if Mr.P likes raves. I might need to take the stuff people take at rave parties to stay up all night  ...
Oh hey where's my glow stick?

So we will be partying all night to the wee hours & then attend your OTJ party. No time for sleep.

Me either, but I have this weird internal alarm clock....I can wake up whenever I need to and I typically can give you the time within 15 minutes even if I haven't seen a clock in hours. Of all the weird skills to have....

Party is still on, 8 hours to go and she is 41.

I get the jealousy thing, when someone would have a NS cycle I was like "yay!!!.....wish it were me!!!" Hoping for more success stories soon, looks like we have a number of candidates, Hershey, Chewy, Baxter, and Mya. antijinx!!!

Wish we could join the list... but clearly, that's not happening right now!

I'm just so thrilled for Kitten that she had such a successful run w/ Prozinc! You must be ecstatic!

I saw an earlier post - on health - that stated that Glargine - Tight Regulation - has an 84% remission rate. I'm somewhat skeptical - particularly because I read somewhere else the remission rate for cats (no insulin identified) is ~35% - but it sure made me sit up & pay attention! Here it is...

It's not too early to be talking about remission at all, in fact you want to start thinking about it immediately to have your best chance. For your best chance of remission you would want to follow the Tight Regulation protocol if you're able to. This has a remission rate of 84% in newly diagnosed cats but can be a bit labour intensive. Glargine aka Lantus is the insulin you want to be using for this.

Anyways, you're almost there. I'm guessing you're putting finishing touches on Kitten's Party Dress - what a lucky little girl! :-D

I can relate to that feeling its like a happy jealous. If its not Baxter than I want it to be somebody's cat. Sometimes wishes do come true! I am so happy for both of you. More of happy then a jealous feeling. ;-)

Woo-hoo!!!! But, I'm glad you decided it would be an all-day party because this old gal never has been a morning person and 6:30 only comes ONE time a day!! ;-)

Soooo happy for y'all!!!

Libby (and Hershey, too!)

Grayson and all his brothers & sisters are up and ready to party!

Yippee!!! Go Kitten!!!! party_cat party_cat party_cat party_cat party_cat
